WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE

Today, the WCO is driven by compassion, to spread the Gospel, and fulfill the material and spiritual needs of the underprivileged in the Washington community. Its dedicated team of 100 volunteers provides nutritious hot meals and access to a FREE community store for people to obtain clothing, kids’ toys, personal items, household items and other necessities.

We offer the following special programs:

Seeking Help?

To be eligible for free clothing, special programs, and other essentials, you simply need to register with us. When you register, we will start a folder for you that must be kept up to date. This helps volunteers better understand your circumstances and enables us to follow up with ongoing material and spiritual needs, if necessary.

Simply bring the following to sign up for one of our special programs:

  • Photo ID for everyone 18 years of age or older in your household.
  • Proof of address (utility bill, rental lease, paystub, etc.), if different from photo ID.

  • Social Security cards for everyone in your household.

  • Proof of income (paystubs; Social Security, SSI, or Welfare statements; SNAP card; child support agreement).
  • Proof of guardianship if your foster children or grandchildren legally live with you.
